- Abstract
Project selection is the most important and critical step in the application of the National Natural Science Foundation. A good project topic selection is a good start for good-quality research, which will directly affect the funding rate of NSFC applications. In the face of the new trend of scientific and technological innovation and the requirement of building a strong country in science and technology, it is suggested that the applicants for the new era science fund project should focus on the major frontier scientific problems and the major strategic needs of national economic and social development, combine with the direction of discipline emphasis to encourage, find breakthroughs in key areas and neck-jamming places, and solve the problem of neck-jamming. The post-deep core scientific issues are expected to contribute to improving the efficiency of scientific and technological innovation, enhancing the original innovation ability, enhancing the overall level of scientific and technological innovation, supporting industrial transformation and ensuring national security.
