Conference name: Proceedings of the 2022 ‘AISYIYAH International Conference on Health and Medical Sciences (A-HMS 2022)
Date: 14-15 October 2022
Location: Yogyakarta, Indonesia (Hybrid)
Website: https://ichst.unisayogya.ac.id/2022/focal-conference/ It is an honor for me to welcome you to this conference, 2022 Aisyiyah International Conference on Health and Medical Sciences (A-HMS) part of 2022 3rd International Conference on Health Science and Technology (ICHST). With the topic “Transformation of Technology for a Better Life,” this conference tries to facilitate scientific dialectic among researchers, lecturers, and people who are determined in the academic world to share new discoveries and knowledge. This topic is indeed similar to editorial advert for a technology product in Indonesia, but it will be important in human life in the future. With the principle of novelty, science always presents new things, including new technology, to meet the needs of humans who increasingly want the convenience of life. Today, mankind has achieved advanced scientific and technological progress. This dynamic will never stop, so that discovery after discovery of new technology will always decorate our lives. However, the dynamics of science and technology often bump into ethical and moral boundaries as a human society. The development of biotechnology, digital technology, health technology, economic and policy innovation sometimes raises an ethical debate: whether the new technology that is discovered will give benefits in human life, or will it plunge people into new problems. Therefore, science should not be on top of an ivory tower, but should absorb human-to-human conversations in their daily lives, so that science always finds its context in human life. As stated in the Quran: “Read in the name of your Lord who created.” Therefore, we all hope that this conference will make a positive contribution to the development of science and technology in human history. After the second year of theCOVID-19 pandemic, the academic world has also found a new convenience: that scientific forums can be held virtually. Therefore, this conference was held on a hybrid basis for 2 days by presenting several competent speakers in their fields as panelists. On behalf of the committee, I would like to thank: 1. Ondˇrej Cástek (Associate Professor in the Department of Business Management at the Faculty of Economics and Administration, Masaryk University, Czech Republic) who will deliver his narration on Digitization and Its Consequences
2. Lisa McKenna (Dean and Head of the School of Nursing and Midwifery LaTrobbe University) who will talk about Tele-simulation
3. Waluyo Adi Siswanto (Rektor UMAM) who will narrate the topic on Smart Accommodation Precision Manufacturing for Packaging in Canned Health Products
4. Linda McGowan (Pro-Dean of Internationalisation Faculty of Medicine and Health University of Leeds) who will talk about The Psychological and Social Aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART)
5. Ayano Kit (KyotoKokaWomen’sUniversity, Master of Public Health)who will share experiences about Maternal and Child Healthcare in Japan
6. Iswanto (UMY) who explain some of the latest findings in the field of health robotics
7. Annisa Khumaira (Prodi Biotek UNISA) who will explore the topic of health biotechnology. We express our deepest gratitude to those who are willing to share the latest ideas, knowledge, and discoveries in their respective fields. Among them, there are those who can be physically present in this place, and some are present virtually via Zoom. This conference is also attended by 70 presenters and totally 118 participants from various scientific disciplines. They come from various universities in Indonesia to share knowledge and new discoveries in this conference. Some will also be physically present here, and some will be present virtually. Due to the breadth of the topic and the number of presenters, the committee will divide the presenters into several breakout rooms. This will be explained technically by the committee during the session. On behalf of the committee, we express our highest appreciation for the participation of the presenters in this conference. The implementation of this conference is sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Culture. Therefore, we express our gratitude for the support. In addition, we also express our gratitude to the leaders of Universitas Aisyiyah Yogyakarta as the host of this conference. They provided everything we needed for this conference to be held. The conference also involved co-hosts: Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta and the Yogyakarta Midwifery Academy. We express our gratitude to them. Not to forget, we also express our gratitude to the committee members who have worked hard from the beginning of preparation to the holding of this conference. The preparations for this conference are very dynamic from day to day, and everything can be adapted appropriately and quickly by the committee members. As chairman, I give a highest appreciation for their performance. Of course, as human beings, our work has not been completely satisfactory. We have made many mistakes and shortcomings. Therefore, we apologize for the various shortcomings and mistakes that we made. Congratulations on this conference. On Behalf the Committee
