JNMP Board Member Wins 2019 Dannie Heineman Prize for Mathematical Physics

Journal of Nonlinear Mathematical Physics (JNMP) Editorial Board Member Francesco Calogero is one of the winners of the 2019 Dannie Heineman Prize for Mathematical Physics, a prestigious prize awarded by the American Physical Society (APS). He received the award "for profound contributions to the field of exactly solvable models in statistical mechanics and many body physics, in particular the construction of the widely studied Gaudin magnet and the Calogero-Sutherland, Shastry-Sutherland, and Calogero-Moser models". JNMP Also Sees Strong Improvement in 2017 Impact Factor

Clarivate Analytics released the 2018 Journal Citation Reports today showing a 2017 Impact Factor of 1.438 for the Journal of Nonlinear Mathematical Physics (JNMP). This marks a 46% jump from JNMP's 2016 Impact Factor of 0.986 and is further testament to the successful year that the journal has had. JNMP has truly established itself as a high-quality journal within mathematical physics and based on 2018 CiteScore tracking by Scopus it can be expected that the journal's metrics will improve again next year.
JNMP 2017 CiteScore Up 68% Compared to Last Year

Norbert Euler, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Nonlinear Mathematical Physics (JNMP), was a pleased man when the Scopus CiteScores for 2017 were released earlier today. JNMP's 2017 CiteScore reached 1.29, up from 0.77 in 2016, marking a 68% increase compared to last year. This puts the journal in 17th place out of 49 journals in the subject category "Mathematical Physics" and is a good indication of the increasing popularity and usefulness of the journal within its community. It also bodes well for the upcoming Impact Factor release by Clarivate Analytics which will follow later in June.
