ITMR Now Included in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)
July 10th, 2019
As of last week, The International Technology Management Review (ITMR) has been accepted for inclusion in the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). DOAJ is a community-curated online directory of open access journals which aims to be the starting point of all information searches for quality, peer-reviewed, open access material. DOAJ's mission is to increase the visibility, accessibility, reputation, usage and impact of quality, peer-reviewed, open access scholarly research journals globally, regardless of discipline, geography or language. At present, the directory contains more than 13,000 open access journals from 131 countries and more than 4 million open access articles covering all areas of science, technology, medicine, social science and humanities. ITMR's inclusion in the DOAJ is expected to significantly enhance the visibility of the journal.
ITMR to Adopt Rolling Publication Principle from 2018
December 15th, 2017
The International Technology Management Review (ITMR) is set to become a rolling publication journal from 2018. The rolling publication principle (RPP) is a new publishing model in which final versions of articles (i.e. with pagination and complete citation information) are published and allocated to a rolling volume as and when they are ready (as opposed to waiting until a journal issue has been completed). With an increasing focus on online publishing, there is a growing need for innovative publication models which are geared towards individual articles instead of the print-based issue model. RPP means that final citation data is assigned on an article-by-article basis and decoupled from the compilation of the journal issue itself. Until now ITMR published 4 issues per yearly volume (Volumes 1-6), but as a result of this switch the journal will publish one rolling volume consisting of a single issue per calendar year starting from 2018 (Volume 7).
