Welcome to the Eleventh International Conference on Languages and Arts (ICLA-11 2022). The Committee is pleased to present the Proceedings of 2022 International Conference on Languages and Arts held by Faculty of Languages and Arts of Universitas Negeri Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia. The organizing committee believes and trusts the editors and reviewers have been true to the spirit of collegiality reviewed papers, provided feedback and now present a strong body of published work in this collection of proceedings published by Atlantis Press.

Industrial Revolution 4.0 is a global acceleration era in creating a master piece to accelerate economic achievement in a country. This era is a challenge for all of us particularly in the field of language, literature, arts and education. In order to respond this challenge, creative industry should take and play important role to bring benefit for our country. For this purpose, the 11th International Conference on Language and Arts (ICLA-11) invites researchers, teachers/lecturers and students to come as presenters or participants. This year theme is “Current Issues in Collaborative Learning and Digital Technology in Languages and Arts”. The ICLA2022 conference aims to bring together leading researchers, scholars, teachers and students from all over the world to share innovations and new trends realized in their experiences and their current research results and learn from each other on several aspects of linguistics, literature, arts and the teaching of languages and arts.

We would like to express our best gratitude to Rector of Universitas Negeri Padang, Prof. Ganefri, Ph.D.; and Dean of FBSUNP, Prof. Dr. Ermanto, M.Hum. for their tremendous support. Furthermore, we are very grateful to have five keynote speakers coming from different countries that certainly enhance our knowledge and understanding about research and the teaching on languages and arts.

We would like to thank the all invited speakers: Dewi Andriani, Ph.D. (University of Queensland, Australia); Professor Madya Dr. Muhammad Fazli Taibbin Saearan (Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), Malaysia); Aminudin Tua Hamonangan Siregar (Leiden University, the Netherland); Dra. Yetty Zainil, MA., Ph.D. (Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia); and Prof. Dato’ Dr. Khairil Ansari, M.Pd.(Universitas Negeri Medan, Indonesia); Dr. Suharto, M.Hum. (Universitas Negeri Semarang, Indonesia).

We would like to extend our gratitude to all speakers for their participation and presence at this conference. Hopefully, all participants and other interested readers will benefit scientifically from the proceedings and also find it stimulating in the process. All submitted conference papers were blind-reviewed by competent reviewers.
