Abstract

In order to further study the process of flue gas desulfurization by citrate process, A numerical model for the removal of SO2 from packed absorption tower is established by using chemical process simulation software Aspen Plus, The influence of operation parameters on desulfurization efficiency was analyzed and optimized. The simulation results are in good agreement with the literature. The model calculation results show that: The desulfurization rate increases with the increase of pH value and liquid gas ratio of the absorption liquid;With the increase of inlet mass concentration of SO2 and the increase of inlet flue gas flow rate, The results show that the pH value and the liquid gas ratio are the main factors affecting the flue gas desulfurization efficiency of citrate process. The established model of citrate flue gas desulfurization process is accurate and reasonable, The simulation results can provide reference and reference for the actual operation of desulfurization system and the influence of various operation parameters on desulfurization efficiency.
