- Abstract
This research explores the relationship between voice climate and individual change readiness. In accordance with the psychological ownership theory, we argue that affective commitment would mediate the relationship between voice climate and individual change readiness; furthermore, work engagement would moderate the proposed indirect effect. Online questionnaires were completed by 187 employees from two private organizations in Indonesia. The result showed that affective commitment mediates the relationship between voice climate and individual change readiness. Furthermore, neither work engagement nor the dimensions’ of work engagement (vigor, dedication, and absorption) strengthens the effect of voice climate on individual change readiness in an indirect effect via affective commitment. How, why, and implication were discussed.
