- Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of standard of living and quality of life of rural population in the Omsk region. The study contains data on the level of investment, housing, income and distribution of expenditures of the rural population. The living standards of rural settlements in the Omsk region are lower than in the federal district and in the whole of the Russian Federation; the quality of life of rural population varies depending on the climatic zone to which they relate; in addition, there is a difference in the corresponding socio-economic development indicators within a single climatic zone. The factors that have a significant impact on the standard of living and quality of life of population of rural areas in the Omsk region by natural and climatic zones are considered. This paper proposes activities that can be used in the development and implementation of plans and programs for socio-economic development of the municipal regions of the Omsk region.
