Abstract

With the development of China's economy, the transformation and upgrading of economic structure will lead to the structural adjustment of higher education. The focus of Shaanxi's higher education development should be shifted from scale expansion to focusing on both scale and quality. The idea of structural adjustment should be shifted to more adapting to the requirements of productivity development and industrial structure upgrading. The goal of discipline setting should be shifted to highlighting regional characteristics and enhancing competitiveness. This is the need of the development of regional higher education and the realistic requirement of regional social and economic development. The research on the transformation and development of Shaanxi local colleges and Universities Serving Regional economy has a strong practical guiding significance for the transformation and development of local colleges and universities, and has a reference value for the relevant government departments to standardize the healthy development of local colleges and universities.
