Abstract

In this essay, I focus on the issues about the relationship between teaching and learning, with an emphasis on the analysis and perception of the Chinese educational model. The essay begins with background information on the importance of the relationship between teaching and learning, and then leads to the core part of the essay, which is the three main issues about teaching and learning interaction. These three issues are summarized in simple terms: the hindrance of e-learning to teacher-student interaction, the fixed role of the teacher (controller) in traditional Chinese teaching, and the fact that teachers are more concerned with students’ marks than with their personal development. Finally, I will mention the best solution for each of these problems in my opinion.
