The Impact of English Play on Teenage Learners

Abstract

By questionnaire and interview with participants in an English play contest, the study found that English play was an especially effective English learning strategy in non-English-speaking context. Learners’ participation facilitated language internalization, recognition improvement and it also had invisible, formative influences on their personality development.
