Today education of maker has been a hot global topic. It attracts wide attention from all over the world since it has been put forward. How to develop maker education under the situation of transformation is a question. The paper discussed this question from the following aspects: origin, the concept of maker, development status, development strategy, and so on. Paper put forward its own point of view about maker education.
