- Abstract
Trademark dilution doctrine embodies the expansion of trademark infringement from the traditional confusion doctrine. It provides a broad protection for the exclusive rights of well-known trademarks. Due to the fact that Chinese scholars have done much theoretical research on dilution doctrine and Chinese courts have applied the anti-dilution doctrine theoretically and practically to make some rulings in the judicial practice of well-known trademark protection, it is suggested that the anti-dilution doctrine should be incorporated in the CTL.
