The development results include the learning needs maps, and the draft book from designing stage, and the final model of the supplementary book from developing stage. The quality of the supplementary book was assessed from the materials, language, presentation, and charts component. Each component is categorized as very feasible. The observation results of teachers activities, teachers response, students activities, and students responses are very good. The development of supplementary book based on DRTA can increase the intensive reading learning outcomes in fourth grade students of elementary school.
