- Abstract
The standardization of on-line government services platforms signifies much to license issuing agencies, which seek streamlining routines and increasing efficiency. This article analyzes the role of standardization in online government services platforms from three aspects by elaborating on the necessity for on-line government services and the role of and issues about on-line government services platforms and examining the causes for these issues from the perspective of standardization. Standardization shall serve the purpose of economic growth and social welfare as well as deepening reform in all areas and in administrative community, of reforming the system of government administration. These two administrations gave priority to the reform of streamlining administration, delegating powers and improving regulation and services. The reform of administrative licensing is exactly an offensive move for the transformation of government functions as well as central cannon for administration streamlining and powers delegating. As the task of streamlining administration and delegating powers with regard to number of items under administrative licensing has been nearly completed, the reform of the administrative licensing system shall focus on efficient and convenient licensing services. Both national policies and local practices are set to improve the efficiency of government services by building online government services platforms.
