- Abstract
This study aims to determine the enhancement mastery of students' concepts after being given learning based on the Science Technology Society (STS) approach to Chemical Equilibrium. Students in class XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 2 of Senior High School 4 Sidoarjo be a subject. The data is obtained from concept mastery tests given before and after learning activities. The data is analyzed qualitative and quantitative descriptive, and inferential statistics. The results of the student mastery concept at the pre test in the XI MIA 1 and XI MIA 2 get average score 24.66 and 24.46 while at the post test XI MIA 1 gets average score is 85.50 and the XI MIA 2 gets average score is 82.90. The results of the t-test indicate a difference in the mastery of students' concepts before and after being given learning based on the Science Technology Society (STS) approach.
