Abstract

Due to the particularity of regulation of tobacco industry, Chinese tobacco monopoly Bureau (Company) is prone to moral hazard and reverse selection under the asymmetric information. This paper analyzes causes and effects of moral hazard and adverse selection through the information economics model, and puts forward targeted policy suggestions to improve efficiency and ensure the stability of tobacco industry.
