Abstract

Key management is one of the most challenging security issues in wireless sensor networks where sensor nodes are randomly deployed in a hostile field. Considering the limitations of power, computation and communication capabilities in wireless sensor networks, key predistribution is found to be a better choice. In this paper ,we propose a new key predistribution scheme by using the deployment knowledge and the key matrix. The deployment knowledge is used in this paper to divide the nodes and keys into several groups. Then we distribute different key chain in the key matrix into the nodes according to the group of the node and establish pairwise key. In this way, the resilience and connectivity will be enhanced.
