Abstract

“Penganjeng Aik” is tradition of Sasak in East Lombok to treatment a disease. “Penganjeng Aik” is one way of community in Sasak, especially in East Lombok to treat a disease. The study focuses on simbolysm Penganjeng Aik Tradition which still exists today. There is a value of religion and the social in it. The data were obtained from investigation in Community of Sasak where they do the activity to treat the disease like “fever “ and other diseases even though there is a good treatment in modern era.
