Abstract

Panic buying is one the impacts of the Covid-19 that has not been overcome. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of panic buying and customer behavior have on purchase decisions during the Covid-19 pandemic, at shopping center in Padang City, both simultaneously and partially. The number of samples from this study was 150 respondents. The data collection technique used is distributing questionnaires. Data analyze by descriptive and quantitative. The quantitative analysis used was multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 26 software. The results showed panic buying and customer behavior on buying decisions had a positive and significant effect simultaneously and partially. This study aims to determine how much influence panic buying, and customer behavior have on purchase decisions during the Covid-19 pandemic, a case study of a shopping center in Padang City, both simultaneously and partially. The number of samples taken was as many as 150 respondents with purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique used is distributing questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using descriptive analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of multiple regression showed that the variables panic buying and customer behavior on buying decisions had a positive and significant effect simultaneously and partially.
