Abstract

The role of mental health in the rehabilitation process has been increasingly emphasised, and the aim of this paper is to explore the relationship between mental health and rehabilitation and its role in the rehabilitation process. Through literature review and case study, this paper firstly elaborates the theoretical basis of mental health and rehabilitation, including the concepts and characteristics of mental health and rehabilitation as well as the correlation between the two. Secondly, this paper delves into the specific role of mental health in the rehabilitation process, including the aspects of emotional management, psychological support and coping strategies. Finally, through empirical research and case studies, this paper validates the importance of mental health in rehabilitation and makes recommendations for further research. The findings of this paper are of great theoretical and practical significance for promoting the development of rehabilitation practice and enhancing the effectiveness of rehabilitation.
