Abstract

Based on the theory of Error Analysis, this paper attempts to discuss the types of errors and various reasons for the occurrence of errors in college English writing. Besides, it demonstrates the principles of error correction. This research will be conductive to the appropriate adoption of teaching strategies and teaching focuses in college English writing.
