Abstract

Bourdieu's cultural capital theory is one of the important contents of his sociological theory system. Cultural capital includes three forms, namely specific cultural capital, objectified cultural capital and institutionalized cultural capital. The three forms of capital in contemporary college students' cultural capital composition are shown as cultural competence, cultural products and cultural system. The stock of the cultural capital of the contemporary college students influences and determines their cultural competitiveness.
