- Abstract
For a long time, people tend to form a fixed impression on accounting undergraduates. It is considered that women are more suitable for accounting-related work than men, while they neglect the other factors to influence the work. This, in turn, will affect the professional status of accounting undergraduates of different genders. In this study, male and female undergraduates majoring in accounting were selected to measure their scores on gender, school fame, age, family and place of student source by using the rejection sensitivity questionnaire (RSQ). The results showed that the difference of gender scores was significantly higher than that of other dimensions, which demonstrating that accounting undergraduates are really influenced by professional gender stereotypes. According to the above conclusions, this study puts forward the corresponding countermeasures.
