- Abstract
Early Wittgenstein and Later Wittgenstein each developed a system of philosophy of language. They both offer a solution to the question of the meaningfulness of language. Later researchers are interested in whether and how Wittgenstein’s philosophy of language can function to solve philosophy of other disciplines. Aesthetics and art are one of the major focuses. This paper summarizes possible Wittgensteinian understandings and interpretations of art.
