Abstract

The dynamic characteristics of the brake drum are theoretically calculated and studied by the finite element method. The finite element model of the brake drum is established by using ANSYS software. Through the analysis and calculation of the model, the first 12 natural frequencies and vibration shapes are computed, which provides a reference for the analysis and design of the brake drum.
