Abstract

In this paper, a new three dimensional Lorenz-like chaotic system is reported. Nonlinear characteristic and basic dynamic properties of the three-dimensional autonomous system are studied by means of nonlinear dynamics theory, including the stability and the conditions for generating Hopf bifurcation of the equilibrium point. The chaotic system is demonstrated by numerical simulation.
