- Abstract
Vehicular Ad-Hoc Network (VANET) is extremely potent in improving the security and efficiency of vehicles and roads, as well as the comfort of drivers and passengers. The standardization and development of VANET have received attention from various fields. Recent studies focus on these fields such as routing protocols, broadcast, quality of service, security, and simulation. In this paper, we review the new advances in these fields and elaborate the new achievements and newly introduced techniques and methods. Based on this, we summarize the challenges encountered in research of VANET.
