- Abstract
There are many realistic features of undergraduates' political participation in the “micro-internet era”. For example, the scale and influence of participation are expanded; the participants are good at and willing to use network technology and new media, and they have a stronger sense of political responsibility and democratic legal system. However, low political efficiency, political indifference and political enthusiasm coexist. In the meantime, the emotional and irrational aspects of participation and other realistic features cannot be ignored. At the same time, the political participation of college students in the “micro-internet era” also reflects the possible trend of democratization of information production and dissemination, expansion of the scope of participating subjects, and improvement of the degree of citizen organization, thereby promoting the gradual maturity of the development of socialist democracy.
