Abstract

Get the information of the three-dimensional object from the two-dimensional image, camera calibration is an essential and critical step. The position of a three-dimensional object, geometric information such as shape and state can be obtained from 2D image only by camera calibration and thus the information of 3D objects in real environment can be restored. The intensity of the reflected light of a point on a space object reflected on a two-dimensional image is the intensity of each bright spot on the image.
