Abstract

A series of 4,5-disubstituted triazole derivatives(5a--5d) were prepared starting from substituted aniline via aminolysis reaction, cyclisation, alkylation, deprotection. All the synthesized compounds were screened for cytotoxic activity against three human cancer cell lines such as MCF-7, Hela and A549. Compound 5b was found to be most active with IC50 values 7.20 M and 7.31 M against MCF-7 and A549, respectively.
