Guava juice are given 3 cc/kg/day for 7 days. Erythrocyte index were measured at before and after treatment. There was a significant differences between pre test and post test. Moreover consumption of red guava juice is more effective in increasing erythrocyte index. Red Guava juice can be a supplementary to prevent occurence of anemia in adolescents.
