Abstract

The development of the quality of online learning has recently gained much attention. The most significant trend in this area is the use of massive open online courses (MOOC), based on the implementation of educational videos. It is considered to be quite a new format for educational material presentation. Being created with the help of megaversities or large financial companies, MOOC can be a tool for individual study development as well as for educational environment expanding. The study of the effectiveness of video content, its structure and methods of implementation are underrepresented in the research literature. The article proposes the author's concept of implementation of massive open online courses.
