- Abstract
Research suggests that smartphone addiction (SA) is associated with interpersonal relationships and psychological factors. Using random samples of 8th-grade students at Taian High School, this paper explores how interpersonal relationships impact the three psychological factors and SA. The data shows that when students’ perceived interpersonal relationships worsen, they are more likely to have negative emotions, resulting in a greater susceptibility to SA.
