- Abstract
Human rights would always be an important issue across the globe, and feminism is one of the most significant branches of human rights that people need to focus on. Although feminism usually tackles on the specific rights that women should have in general, it was different for feminists of different ethnicities. However, this specific problem within feminism was never really fully discussed. Hence in this paper, the root causes of the differences in different ethnicities’ feminism would be analyzed, in order to truly understand what should be achieved in future years in order to bring the branches of feminism back together, and help the process of fighting for women’s rights more efficient and unified. Using different primary and secondary sources from both African American and white feminists, both perspectives of ethnically different feminists shall be discussed, and the differences and how those differences were created would be further elaborated later on. As a main conclusion of the paper, the causes of those said differences would be the different groups of people that feminists of different ethnicities fought for.
