Abstract

The “Belt and Road” Initiative and establishment of the AIIB have provided a convenient international environment and conditions for Chinese financial institutions to ‘go global’ and carry out cross-border business and transnational operations. Senior management personnel are major important factor for improving the profitability and transnational operation of China's banking industry. Under the background of the ‘Belt and Road’ initiative, China's banking industry should pay attention to the selection, training and reserve of senior managers and cultivate the necessary human resource for the bank's own development and transnational operations.
