- Abstract
This paper examines some aspects of Mariam Petrosyan's "The House, in Which..." novel's poetics and reception. One of the major characteristics of this novel is that it is full of visual images, striking metaphors, memorable descriptions. At the same time, this text contains a lot of gaps, ambiguities. This contradiction appears to be a basic principle of the novel and the main reason why it received mixed reviews both from critics and readers.
