Abstract

Autism is a neurodevelopmental disorder, characterized by cognitive impairments manifesting themselves in communicative behaviour. The paper deals with psycholinguistic experiments aimed at detecting problems experienced by autists when achieving local coherence of the text. Particular emphasis is placed on tests involving anaphora resolution and lexical disambiguation.
