- Abstract
So far, correctional institutions have only focused on fulfilling personality and skill development. At the same time, there is no sexual need for prisoners, even though every prisoner has the right to fulfill their sexual needs. Problems will arise in humans when the libido increases and sexual desire increases while the level of freedom and satisfaction is not channeled. In a correctional institution, it is not the same as in the broader community, which, of course, will cause obstacles in efforts to meet their sexual needs. This study looks at the sexual needs of prisoners from the study of the pyramid theory of human needs, the concept of loss in a heterosexual relationship, and the theory of social deviation.
