Abstract

This paper presents a novel reversible information hiding method for digital images by a joint with integer wavelet transform and assignment algorithm. This scheme takes advantage of Gaussian-like distribution histogram for utilizing integer wavelet coefficients in frequency and assignment algorithm for best matching between the secret image and the original one. Experimental results show that original image and extracted marked image could have high visual quality and they are perceptually similar to their original versions. In addition, results show that this scheme outperforms peak signal to noise ratio (PSNR) than other methods.
