- Abstract
The paper studied the correlation between web search data and housing price, then made a comparative analysis between Beijing and Xi’an in China. An empirical study of Beijing and Xi’an has been conducted to verify the predict ability of web search data, and found that the predict ability of web search data has a certain relationship with economic development level of the region, and web search data has a better explanation ability for the fluctuation of housing price in developed region, like Beijing.
