- Abstract
The implementation of “the equatorial principle” in commercial banks is of great significance for reducing the risk of project financing, fulfilling corporate social responsibility and realizing the sustainable development of society, economy and environment. This study examined the performance of commercial banks in order to analyze the operational strategies of commercial banks under the equator principle. Based on the DEA method, this paper made a comparative analysis on the operating efficiency of 10 commercial banks in China from 2009 to 2015, and focused on measuring the efficiency of industrial bank the Equator Principle. According to the results of efficiency evaluation, this paper analyzed the influencing factors of commercial banks' operating efficiency, and put forward the sustainable development strategy of commercial banks.
