Abstract

With the development of computer network and information technology, E-learning has become one of the most important teaching modes. The article introduces the historical background of E-learning, and compares the features of traditional college English with EFL teachers’ new roles in E-learning. It points out that EFL teachers’ roles should be transferred and reformed in E-learning.
