- Abstract
During the pandemic, which shows 19 which hit most of the countries of the world from the beginning of 2020 making a significant transformation in various fields, including in the field of education which mostly uses education at home. About before this period comes, the world community has become a family even very family with a digital world using the internet network. In the field of learning many applications are used in conversations in Indonesia, among others: zoom, various LMS, google classes, google meet, social media, personal websites, even chat applications, including the most popular with WhatsApp application. The use of online learning applications also impacts the use of online tests as well. This study will look at the main problems associated with the use of online tests on the ability to solve students’ problems in the future COVID 19 pandemic in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods with simple linear regression statistical operation techniques. The respondents used were two classes of students who took the Pancasila education course at Surabaya State University. The results obtained mean that there is no significant difference between the forms of tests used in both paper tests and online tests on the ability to solve problems. Online tests only facilitate test activities, but not for strategies to strengthen student skills to improve problem solving skills.
