Abstract

This research aimed to reconstruct the twilight of Karaeng Galesong’s resistance against VOC using historical method namely of heuristic, verification, interpretation and historiography. Either primary or secondary sources was employed in this research. Those sources was verified, interpreted and written in a narrative description of the events, started with the departure of Karaeng Galesong from Makassar after the Treaty of Bungaya, Karaeng Galesong allied with Trunojoyo, and the twilight of Karaeng Galesong’s resistance against VOC
