Abstract

This paper derived an approximate deformation analytical solution of a circular hole which is parallel to the isotropic plane of the layered rock mass. The data comparisons of approximate solutions and numerical solutions are conducted in different radii and stress conditions through the FLAC3D software. The accuracy and applicability of the approximate solution are proved by the comparisons of the data and the analyses of error.
