Abstract

The article discusses the possibilities of methodological support of students’ thinking processes by means of cognitive visualization. The article substantiates that one of the optimal means is the structural-logical schemes, since they are multifunctional, effective, and easy to learn. Special attention is paid to thinking, which is presented from the following two positions: as a process and as an activity. The author clarifies the concept of methodological support, describes the experience of using structural-logical schemes in the educational process.
