Abstract

One of hadith isnad that categorized as al-Asanid al-Dhahabiyyah (golden chain) is an Isnad path of Malik from Nafi' from Ibn Umar from the Prophet, that is recognized as the most authentic isnad by the Muslim scholar. However, Juynboll state that In the Lisan literally hundreds of forged hadiths are listed supported by this isnad. By examining the path of transmission of hadiths using that isnad in Lisan al-Mizan book, the author of this paper finds that the number of false isnads using the pathway had no effect on the credibility of the transmission of the golden chain in the canonical books.
