Abstract

Community park is an important place for the elderly to carry out outdoor activities. Taking Nanjing Nanhu Park as the research object, through field investigation, this paper understands the current situation of community park and analyzes the landscape space preferred by the elderly. Combined with the data of behavior observation, questionnaire and random interview, this paper analyzes the behavior pattern characteristics and activity space of the elderly, and summarizes the internal relationship between the behavior pattern of the elderly and the public activity space. Combined with the existing problems and the actual needs of the elderly, this paper puts forward optimization suggestions for the community park, so as to meet the needs of the elderly for public activity space and enhance the vitality of the community park.
