Abstract

Maintaining good mental health is vital for overall well-being as it influences how individuals think, feel, and behave. It is shaped by factors like genetics, environment, and life experiences. Poor mental health can have adverse effects, including increased risk of physical health issues, occupational dysfunction, and decreased quality of life. On the other hand, good mental health can improve physical health, social and occupational functioning, and overall well-being. Prioritizing and addressing mental health is crucial for promoting overall health and well-being.
